Western Australian based community organisation, Technology Assisting Disability (TADWA) is a not-for-profit group dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, the frail aged and those caring for them by providing customised designed & built equipment, aids and computers.
With a significant increase in demand for services, there was a need to relocate to a building more suited to their operations. With contributions from state and local government and corporate businesses, including Lycopodium, TADWA realised its dream of moving into a purpose built facility capable of housing all its workforce and workshops.
Started in 1984 when a number of Telecom employees banded together to supply communications equipment for a person with a disability, TADWA has since broadened its range of services and helped many individuals and families throughout WA.
